About Me

My photo
Aldershot, Hampshire, United Kingdom
I am a mum to 2 girls and a wife to a very understanding husband who never complains that our dinning room table has been taken over by my obssesion with card making and scrapbooking. Along side this myself and my husband run a very busy florist. So most of my evenings are spent making cards to sell in our shop. I have enjoyed looking at everyones blog spots and decided to share some of my designs.

Match Box Advent Calender

I was in two minds as if to put this on my blog. I have seen lots of lovely creations and did not think mind stood up to any of the ones I have seen. But what the heck it took me 3 nights of my devotion so I decided to put it on. The kids loved it, I did not have acrylic paint or anything fancy to make it with. So had to use what ever was in my draws.
PM paper, copic pens to colour the draw fronts. Peel offs for the numbers and various bits to decorate. I am quite pleased with the finished piece. Hope you like it.

"Scrap booking those school memories"

I spend an awful lot of time scrap booking. I have recently just started a book for all the school pictures starting from nursery upwards. Here are a couple of pages from the album. As I am a consultant for creative memories all my products are from creative memories.
This shows my daughter Holly at nursery, yr and y1. I scrap book every picture I take and have shelf upon shelf of albums full of memories.

"With Love"

I got inspiration for this card off another blog site,Star dust gems and Ribbons.I loved the lay out so decided to give it a go myself. I have used a Sarah Kay stamp for the main image. The heart and champagne bottles are both Tilda stamps. The word stamp is form stampin up. The paper is from my stash.

Something for the men

I dont tend to make cards for men very often. So last night I had a go at these 2. I'm quite pleased with how they have turned out.

Faries and Angels

Well I have been away for months. Work has been so busy, I am working nearly full time now and just don't seem to have the time to make as many cards. Last night I went round to my friend Anita's and we had a card making night. I did not make any cards for any challenges but this one seems to suit the cute card thursday challenge.

I used one of my Tilda images, and the paper is just scraps from my scrap bag. Not bad for a card made from bits and bobs.
